Architect Your Home: The plan
Project
Architect Your Home is a nationally established company, with 50 offices, in areas including Manchester, Wirral and Merseyside. It has provided its services to more than 4,000 homeowners. The company revolutionised traditional architects’ working methods and developed a unique, cost-effective, pay-as-you-go menu of services.
Objectives
We were first approached by Architect Your Home in January 2008 — having been found via a Google search. The company objectives were to:
• Increase awareness of Architect Your Home in the North West
• Educate potential customers on the benefits of using an architect for their home renovation projects and remove any objections
• Generate customer enquiries
Strategy
Viva developed a strategy designed to appeal to the parochial nature of regional and local newspapers, featuring ‘local’ architects offering, tips, comment and advice. We created a regular flow of feature ideas and worked hand in hand with the London team. We also developed a series of key contacts throughout the region — staff reporters, freelance contributors and online editors.
Results
Viva produces a regular flow of cuttings, from regional lifestyle magazines through to regional and weekly newspapers. In 2008 we had more than 60 cuttings, with an ad value in excess of £100,000.
