Tony boasts a wealth of wordsmithing experience, in-depth knowledge of how the media works, and what makes a decent PR story. He set the Viva philosophy of not specialising in particular sectors so that Viva can avoid conflicts by offering exclusivity for clients in particular sectors. Viva's aim is not to be the biggest PR company but to be the very best it can be for its clients.
After a 15 year career in journalism (which included a stint as Bobby Moore’s ghostwriter for the Sunday Sport), Tony founded Viva with an aim to make it one of the most distinctive and dynamic public relations consultancies this side of the River Ribble.
Currently Tony is president of the region’s Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time he wrote 10 Years At the Reebok after a commission from Bolton Wanderers.
