A case study is a real life example that illustrates the work of our clients and gives us the human interest angle that a story might otherwise have been lacking.
They also provide the evidence that our ever so slightly sceptical journalists friends — and their adoring public — might ask for when we tell them how great you are.
A case study can transform something which might otherwise have struggled to make the press into a cracking story.
Example: Manchester Chiropractic tells us that their chiropractors are actually lifesavers because they sometimes come across potentially fatal illnesses in their line of work
Without a case study we might have been shouted at by journalists for trying to get a free advert. Luckily, Manchester Chiropractic put us in touch with a man so happy his chiropractor had spotted he had an abdominal aneurysm that he was delighted to be interviewed by us so we could write a case study.
The result: the story about Manchester Chiropractic’s good work made front page of the Rochdale Observer and also received coverage in the Manchester Evening News and a glossy magazine
