Viva reaches final stage in prestigious local awards

Viva has been shortlisted at Lancashire’s Red Rose Awards in the Small Business category.

The annual awards, brought together by Lancashire Business View, celebrate Lancashire businesses to promote success and encourage trade across the county.

Tony Garner, Managing Director of Viva, said:

“This is the first time in 21 years that we’ve entered the Red Rose Awards. In previous years our focus has been on supporting successful entries for numerous Lancashire-based clients. However, this year seemed the perfect year to put our hat in the ring too.

“Not only have we got a great story of transformation and growth to share, the business has also just become an Employee Ownership Trust, meaning our people will share in our future success and be more empowered in strategic direction of the business. Success in these awards would be a great way to celebrate this key stage in our journey.

“And, whilst we’ve worked hard to create an international reputation for Viva, it’s always remained important to us to stay true to our Lancashire roots – so these particular awards are certainly close to our hearts.”
