Six PRCA DARE award shortlists for Viva

Viva has been shortlisted for six awards, including Medium Consultancy of the Year, at the upcoming PRCA DARE Awards North West.

The agency’s work launching the South Pennines Park in September 2021 is shortlisted twice – for the Media Relations Award and Event/Launch of the Year.

Unveiling the Barbara Castle statue for Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council joins the South Pennines Park in the Event/Launch of the Year category, as well as being shortlisted for the Integrated Campaign of the Year Award.

The agency is also shortlisted for the Team Culture and Community Award, in recognition of all the measures put in place to look after its 12-strong team

Tony Garner, Viva’s founder and MD, said: “The nominations for the work we’ve produced really show that we live up to our promises – we create stories that deliver real impact for our clients.

“It’s a huge honour to be shortlisted in the Medium Consultancy of the Year category for the first time in our history. Due to growing the business and the team, we’ve moved up from the Small Agency category, and that tells me we’re well on track for achieving our five-year targets set in 2019.

“Being in the running for the Team Culture and Community Award also makes me incredibly proud – we’ve put a number of initiatives in place to look after our people, and being recognised for this by our industry means a lot.
